So the wait continues. Okay, we wait! What to do while waiting? I have seen poems and lists and group posts about things to do while you wait. What do we do? The same thing we always do - make a list and talk about all the things we should be doing while we have the time to do it!
How's it going? Well, we've checked off two (that's right) two things this week! I painted a door frame white, and my dh helped me hang the new curtains I bought for the bedroom. Pretty exciting stuff.
Are we any closer to preparing for the arrival of a child? If you count hanging curtains in our new bedroom so we can move my dh's office out of what will be the new baby room, then yes we are closer to preparing for our child's arrival. Reality? Not really any closer to being prepared! (Are you ever really prepared?)
Some great things get done in our house when time is short! So we will wait. Wait for our referral. Wait to meet our daughter. Wait to bring her home. And wait to prepare for her arrival!
