The Acronyms Continue...

Today we got our CA and a confirmation of travel. Our Consulate Appointment is September 26. We will leave on September 15 and return on September 28. We will see our daughter for the first time on Monday, September 18. (I think my heart just skipped a beat!) I will post an itinerary later when we have more travel details.

On another note... our agency has requested our daughter's new name. They need it to begin paperwork in China. Umm. Incase no one has noticed, we are still working on that one! So maybe a deadline will help us narrow down and decide faster. We need to have a name to our agency by Friday. (I'm bringing white out incase we change our minds!) So stay tuned for the great unveiling. It will be here on this blog on Friday!

For those in the back that came in late:

• CCAA - China Center of Adoption Affairs
• DTC - Documents to China; this is the date that our documents were sent from our agency to China.
• LID - Logged in Date; this is the date that the CCAA logged our information into their system.
• TA - Travel Approval; assigned by the CCAA granting adoptive parents permission to travel to pick up their child(ren).
• CA - Consulate Appointment; the is an appointment with the US Consulate. It's the last stop on the trip.
