Shopping is Shopping

I skipped work felt a little under the weather today so decided to stay home. Well at least that's what I told my boss! I went shopping at IKEA with my mom and sister. Nothing like a shopping trip to clear the mind, open the senses, drain the checkbook!

I bought everything I thought I needed to make my living room livable with a toddler. My DH might dispute that, but he will appreciate the comfort of the new sofa when it's in place and the ease of having cabinets to hide the clutter!

Do I need to be cleaning my house for the homestudy? Yes. Do I need to be finishing the details of the nursery? Yes. Do I need to be gathering documents and packing our suitcases? Yes. Did I go shopping for overpriced, oversized living room furniture instead. Yes.

Anyone want to buy a slightly used comfy couch? I'll throw in the overly used lazy-boy recliner for free. We can negotiate on the husband that sits in it!

Ahh Ikea... the place where dreams are made of (screw Disney Land). Envious and must make a trip there soon.
