You have been invited to take a peek into our lives. This blog is part therapy, part news release, and maybe one day a glimpse into the past for our child. We want you to share in these things. The following guidelines will make the blog experience better for all of us:
1. Your comments are welcome and encouraged. The preferred method of discussing topics we write about on ska-doodle.com is by leaving a comment on the blog. Just click on the "comments icon" at the end of each entry and write to your hearts content. This is the standard way to communicate about posts. We prefer this method to phone calls, dinner conversation, and/or emails. (However, it may be possible to bribe us to comment on a post at dinner, if it's your treat!)
2. You may give this blog address to your friends and other family, but please do not share this blog with anyone weird. We don't want to have to monitor our readership for creepy lurkers!
3. Any technical problems with operating or accessing this blog should be emailed directly to the resident computer guru in the family. (Sorry babe!)
4. Screaming out loud when you see the first picture of our child, (your new grandchild, niece/nephew, cousin) is also encouraged. It is preferrable that you do this at your home while sitting at your computer reading this blog. We're afraid in person that your screaming would drown out ours!*
If you can live and abide by these requests, please continue to visit, read, and enjoy. If not, we still love you, but this blog-thing may not be for you!
* Ammendment to guideline #4: After review, we have decided that screaming with excitement is mandatory whether at your home, on the phone, or in our doorway.
Welcome to ska-doodle.
(Parts of this post were edited/removed. It was brought to my attention that it was a little abrupt. It was not meant to offend, it was supposed to be funny. I'll work on my humor writing!)
