I left my office in search of lunch. In my car I was listening to talk radio. They announced the afternoon news was next. I arrived at my destination, but stayed in the car for the news. I wanted to hear if there were any updates on our adoption referral.
It took me almost 30 seconds into the news to realize that the rest of the world was not interested in news about our adoption! It took me 2.5 seconds to snap back to reality and head back to my office to check the Internet!
