After naps, we dressed the babies in their finest Chinese silk and headed downstairs for the traditional "Red Couch Photo". We ran out of batteries after about 2 shots, so hopefully one of the other families got some good ones to share. We ventured upstairs for a few shots on another red couch that had better lighting. Next to us was a group of about 15 babies and parents. It was quite a sight to see them all waving their hands and making noises trying to get all the babies to look at the camera. We also took some group photos in front of the hotel waterfall.
Hundreds of flashes later, we were out of the dress (Ty wasn't too fond of the collar around her neck.) and back out for some shopping. We are becoming pros at power shopping here. I can't wait to get home and see what all we have bought!! To wind up the day, we met with our travel buddies in the hallway for a pizza party. Pizza Hut pepperoni pizza never tasted quite so good! We really enjoyed the time with our friends and know we will miss them when we return home.
Tomorrow is our last day in China. We are ready to come home to see our family but are going to miss the little life we have built here in this hotel room. We are all going to miss our adventures here in China and are already planning to come back. Please keep us in your thoughts as we travel. Ty is not feeling well and neither is either of us. It is going to be a long (and probably miserable) plane ride home. I don't think we will have internet again, so this will be our last post before home. We can't wait to see you all soon.

Our beautiful girl on the red couch.

Three babies from Anhui.

Is it time to take this dress off yet?

Our new family at the waterfall.

Enough with the pictures already!

An end to a busy day.

Wow! What an incredible finish to the most exciting and beautiful story of your time in China becoming a family. We've laughed, we've cried, and we've just been amazed at how much has developed in such a short time. So come on home! Our prayers will be with you as you make that long trip home. Thank you for giving us this wonderful time to see your beautiful family evolve.
Mom
LOVE the photos (esp. pulling at the dress, and mother/daughter)... Congrats again and have a safe trip back!
